Des Moines Beach Park Wedding
I still remember the first time I spoke with Rachael. We got off the phone and I immediately thought her and her fiancé, Jake, were too cool for me. She mentioned they ride motorcycles and met while he was performing. He’s a drummer in a rock band, Van Eps, here in Seattle (check them out!!)
Hasn’t this crossed every girls mind at least once? You’re at a concert and you hope the cute drummer notices you out in the crowd. I know I’m not the only one! Well, our dream is Rachael's reality. They connected after the show and the rest is history.
They got engaged in January and tied the knot on September 7th at Des Moines State Park with 300 of their closest family and friends.
Rachael and Jake are two of the most kind-hearted, laid back, and fun people out there. They definitely didn’t let the unexpected thunderstorm rain on their celebration. They were simply happy to just have their loved ones all in one room, celebrating their relationship with live music and good barbecue. The live band was the cherry on top of it all. They danced, they drank (Croatian plum brandy to be exact), they sang, and enjoy every bit of the night.
