Benton Harbor, Michigan Urban Garden Wedding
There was not a detail overlooked at Collin and Kayla’s wedding.
Collin began his morning by practicing his vows on the balcony of the getting ready house. Kayla drove up to the house in a vintage Voltz Wagon Bus (I mean, how cool is it to drive a stick shift VW bus in your wedding dress to your first look? So rad).
This abandoned bank, blacksmith shop, and farm equipment station turned wedding venue is unforgettable. Sundance Studios, a Benton Harbor, Michigan wedding venue, is made up of white washed walls, a European styled arbor, black steel frame windows, handmade chandeliers, and a secret garden. These details make this venue unequivocally unique, with a modern yet rustic edge.
The modern, and cozy ceremony space caught my eye immediately. The ivy hanging from the tent ceiling complimented the neutral colors used in the modern wooden ceremony backdrop, the cream soft seating, and the brown bistro chairs.
The reception hall was beautifully decorated with pops of color; from the turquoise napkins, to the burnt orange goblets, to the perfectly balanced centerpieces.
As we finished off the evening, there was a Dipsy ice cream cart and a soft pretzel bar. It’s safe to say that late night bites are a must at any celebration.
Thank you to Kyle Wilson of Hinterland Stills for bringing me along as a second photographer to this special day!
