Leo Carrillo Ranch Wedding | Carlsbad, California

Leo Carrillo Ranch give me all the old California ranch vibes and I’m here for it.

If you’re hoping to give your out-of-town guests a taste of what Old SoCal feels like, this is the spot. The white brick walls, terracotta clay roof tiles, and light blue lined windows are such gorgeous look for this old ranch venue. And to top it off, it’s surrounded by all sorts of various desert plants and bougainvilleas.

I was able to be the second photog on site for my dear friend Kate VanAmrige, and I’m so glad I was able to be at this wedding.

We had a heat wave this weekend, and it was HOT to say the least. But the sweet couple, Hailey + Thai, managed to push through the heat and had a truly adorable first look.

The details from this wedding were spectacular and I can’t stop admiring them.

During getting ready, I highly suggest putting together all of your important details; such as your rings (yours + your partner’s!), shoes, jewelry, perfume/cologne, invite suite, veil, cufflinks, tie, etc. so that way it can be photographed. It’s a small detail, but when those things get lost or deteriorate overtime, you’ll always have a photo to remind you of what you wore on your wedding day.

The reception details were modern and inviting, with neutral colors and pops of rust which worked perfectly for this fall wedding. If you’re looking for a reception vibe like this, I’ve attached a “get the look” image at the end of this post so that you can easily draw inspiration from this wedding.

Enjoy!
